
Day 3 saw the swimmers back in action with the 400IM starting the day’s proceedings with Henry Offin putting in a fine performance in this difficult event.
In the 12 years 200m Back Jordan McPhail had a good swim. However in the boys 13 years Max Jameson put in a stunning performance swimming a personal best of 2.14.59. This put Max in pole position for the final making it an exciting race where Max pulled out yet another personal best securing the Gold in 2.11.97.
Sophia Wilson swam a strong race in the 200m Fly in the 11/12 years age group, along with Niamh Armitage in the 14 years age group whose swim in the heats secured her a place in the final finishing 10th.
Megan Wallis was the only entry from Guildford for the Girls 800m Free. Megan had a great race finishing in 9.50.11.
Jan Rasmussen, Piers Bowden, James Stacey & Henry Offin put in some strong performances in the Boys 200m Free Relay finishing in 8.31.69.
Well done to everybody after another successful day for swimmers and coaches.
