A number of Guildford’s master swimmers took part in competitions at the weekend. The South East Regional Short Course Championships took place on Saturday 3rd October and we had a number of first and second places in their age groups: Roger Billing had 3 firsts and 1 second. James McCormick had one first and one second. David Hodgetts had 2 firsts and Master’s Coach Sergey Mandradzhiyski came first in his age group in the 50m free. Also putting in fine performances were Patrick Allen, Barnaby Rudd and Stuart Swaffer.

Not to be outdone Mike Hodgson was taking part in the European Master’s Swimming Games in Nice, France. Mike secured 2 silvers.
