In the Men’s 200 back Rubéns King put in a measured swim which gained him a place in the final. Ruben’s final swim showed great commitment where he came 6th improving on his entry time finishing in 2.09.79.

Ciara Walsh showed great race skills and improved on her entry time to gain a place in the finals where she executed even better race skills finishing 8th in 29.46 in her first ever National final.

Piers Bowden built through his 50 fly swim to gain a PB in the heats and a place in the final where he finished 6th in 27.59.

That brings us to the end of a wonderful 2 weeks of competition. Well done to all the swimmers who took part (particularly those of you who stayed for the 2 weeks) you all certainly gave us lots to be proud of. Thank you to the parents for your support.

Big thank you goes to our fantastic team of coaches whether you were at the competition or part of the team back home, (and hats off to those of you who survived the 2 weeks). Have a great summer and we will see you all in September.
