As part of it’s wider agreement with Surrey Sports Park, Guildford City Swimming Club have entered into a new long term contract with the University of Surrey. The agreement means that the Elite Performance and BUCS Competitive University Squads will train together with the Guildford’s Youth and Senior Squad.

Chief Coach Richard Garfield was very excited about the new refreshed arrangement. ” We have been coaching the University Squad since 2010 and we have achieved good solid results with steady progress. This new set up will really give us the opportunity to raise the bar and the chance of bringing much more competitive success.”

Lead Coach Josh Williamson added ” The Club’s youth and senior swimmers are really going to benefit by training with a group of dedicated university age swimmers who share the same ambition and goals”
