Cianan is currently studying for a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Surrey, his modules have included; Determinants of Sports Performance, Performance Training & Assessment, Sport and Exercise Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology and Biochemistry as well as Anatomy and Kinesiology.

As a club swimmer he has competed at County and Regional competitions, whilst working with a variety of experienced coaches. Cianan was also part of the England Talent Water Polo programme, where he was able to experience national and international competition.

Whilst working with GCSC, Cianan will provide a range of sport science support such as performance analysis and physiological assessment, where he will be checking training intensities whilst helping the coaches modify training to individuals and highlighting where improvements may be made.

Cianan is looking forward to developing his practical skills further, working alongside his chosen sport with high level athletes and coaches.
