
Session 5 started with the Men’s 200m IM and Noa Doest (13) put in a strong performance in 2.30.03 along with Frederick Biggs (18) in 2.15.72. Louis Illingworth (14) also had a good race improving on his entry time he came 10th in the final in 2.22.70.
Olivia-Mae Cameron (16) swimming in the S8 Category in the Women’s 100m Free gained 452 British Disability points and finished the race in 1.25.10.
In the Open Women’s 100m Free Danielle Benn (19) had a great swim gaining a Bronze in her final in a personal best time of 58.86. Georgia Smith (17) had a great swim too also claiming Bonze in her final in 58.04.
Ben Rowett (14) swimming in the Men’s 200m Fly came 8th in his final in 2.25.47. Riaan Steyn (19) also had a brilliant swim and gained a Bronze medal in a time of 2.07.45.
There were 4 swimmers in the Women’s 200m Breast Eva Munden (13) came 14th in the heats in 2.52.70. Ella Kenway improve on her entry time in the heats coming 6th in 2.48.24 and finished 10th in the final. There were some amazing performances from Isabella Fakkel (12) who came 1st in her final with a massive improvement on her entry time finishing in 2.42.66.
Following on from that Amy Hodgson (15) had an exciting final and improve on her entry time claiming the Gold medal in 2.44.32.
Swimming in the Men’s 50 Back was Noa Doest (13) and James Bonner (13).
The last event of the day was the Men’s 14/16 800m Free Relay with Guildford coming 5th in the final in 8.11.51. Swimming in the relay was Henry Offin, George Smale, Louis Illingworth & George Smith.
