The men’s 200m Back was the first event of the day. Jordan McPhail (12) improved on his entry time and came 12th in the heats. Louis Illingworth (14) also came 12th in his age group. Rubens King (18) had an excellent swim and improved on his start time coming joint 7th in his Final in 2.10.46.
Tilly Hansen-Hamilton (13) swam the 200m Back and managed to improve on her time coming 5th in the final in 1.08.14. Kate Windle (15) also had a great swim getting through to the final and coming 6th in 1.07.98. Sophie du Plessis (19) put in a fine performance improving on every swim and coming 5th in the Final in 1.04.29.
In the Men’s 50m Breast Charlie Trotman (13) put in his best performance in the heats where he came 7th in 34.93 and then 10th in the Final.
Danielle Benn (19) put in a strong performance in the Women’s 100m Fly and finished 5th in the final in 1.04.29.
Louis Illingworth had a fantastic swim in the Men’s 200m Free, having qualified 10th in the heat in 2.07.10 he then went on to swim the final in 2.05.49 coming 5th.
Olivia-Mae Cameron (16) (S8 Category) put in a fine performance in the Women’s MC 100 Back where she came joint 11th in the heats with 421 British Disability points.
