Congratulations to our Director of Swimming, Richard Garfield, who celebrates 25 years as the Head of Guildford City Swimming Club this week!
Under his watchful eye the Club has expanded from 160 to over 800 swimmers, been appointed a Swim England National Performance Centre, reigned as Surrey County Champions for 20 consecutive years, Southern National Arena League Champions for 16 years, National Arena Junior League Champions numerous times, National Arena Champions in 2016, and enjoyed success at the highest level including numerous Guildford City swimmers representing their Country at the Olympic Games.
