Massive congratulations to Darcy Revitt for being selected to represent Great Britain at the European Junior Swimming Championships 2022!
Darcy will be one of 42 athletes to represent Great Britain in Bucharest, Romania between 5-10th July. This is a huge achievement, gained as a result of many years of dedication to the training programme at Guildford City Swimming Club. Darcy joined Guildford City Academy as a seven year old in 2012 and due to her focus and diligence, gained promotion into High Performance as she followed her dream of becoming an international athlete.
Darcy has been fortunate to have been trained and motivated by most of the Guildford coaches throughout her career and is now coached in the National Performance Squad by Lewis Dunford and in Land Training by Jordan Niblock.
Head of High-Performance Lee Spindlow said, “We are all extremely proud of Darcy and her coaches, she has had a dream for many years of representing Great Britain and it is wonderful to see her dream fulfilled. She joins a long list of Guildford City swimmers who have enjoyed international recognition.”
