
Guildford City is the largest leading competitive swimming club in the Southeast of England and has been Junior Arena League National Champions for several years.
We currently have several paid opportunities for Squad Lead Coaches to join our highly successful Academy, please see the Staff Recruitment Page for a list of the vacancies. Applicants would need to be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
ASA Level 2 teacher qualified as a minimum standard
Enthusiastic
Confident
Leadership qualities
Computer literate
Organisational and planning skills
Background in or understanding of competitive swimming if possible
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a love of teaching and coaching swimmers and be able to work within a framework of experienced staff. It is important that the applicants are comfortable working with large groups of swimmers of all ages.
Remuneration will be dependent on experience and qualifications. There will also be other earning opportunities available within the Club.
Applicants must be able to prove they have the right to work within the UK. A DBS and Safeguarding Certificate will be applied for if the applicants do not hold Swim England approved certificates, and references will be sought.
