MEMBER PARKING AT SURREY SPORTS PARK

Please note there is not a free permit available, members must either pay for a permit or ‘pay as you go’ as detailed on the Surrey Sports Park website.

1. Annual Parking Permit £199 per year

It may prove cost effective to buy an annual parking permit covering up to 2 vehicles per family.
• Discounts are available as follows :-

• Prices will be reviewed yearly starting from March 2027/linked to the University charges.
• Valid until 31 August 2026. Each family will need to decide whether this would be a viable option depending on how often they use it (the club will not be able to give any refunds for non-usage regardless of the reason).
• This permit allows parking for training sessions without the restrictions when paying ‘pay as you go’. Members are permitted to park 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the training session. It does not cover free parking outside of training sessions or when there are events on at SSP, see point 3.
• The permit will be a digital recording of the Registrations numbers.
• On receipt of the car details an invoice will be raised on Swim Manager. Payment is automatically collected by direct debit after 3 working days. If the direct debit fails and a manual payment has also not been received, the vehicle details will be removed from the list.

2. Parking during Open Meets or other events

• During Open Meets SSP are recommending using the Nursery parking at the bottom of the hill.
• A third car park by the Nursery is chargeable at £1.20 per hour from 07:00-19:00 weekdays. Free after 19:00. On weekends, the first hour is free, then it’s £2 for up to 12 hours (220 spaces). This car park is managed by the University’s Security Department.

3. Important Notes

• The member is responsible for notifying GCSC of any vehicle changes before parking at SSP as the club will not be able to cancel any fines.
• New applications or changes may take up to 2 weeks for SSP to process. During this time members will need to pay the ‘pay as you go’ parking charges. Members will be advised as soon as the permit becomes active.
• Members will be requested to advise GCSC if they wish to cancel their permit for next season by 1st August 2026. Permits for the period 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027 will be invoiced £199 during August through Swim Manager.
• If already a Surrey Sports Park member, different arrangements may apply – please refer to SSP directly.
