URGENT SAFETY WARNING: Further to the earlier post. it looks like if you joined the Telegram App, this is an open app and the scammer has managed to get contact details of the swimming community from there. The scammer is impersonating a Guildford City SC member using a fake mobile number. They are ringing and texting members and other members from other clubs asking for them to give a verification code they have sent. This is a SCAM. Do not reply or share any text they have sent. Block the number immediately. Report it to your mobile network. Forward to 7726, it is a free reporting service used by mobile operators to investigate and ban malicious numbers. The club has also reported the number.
