Squad Coaches’ Ivo and Sergey Mandradzhiyski are absolutely delighted at the squad’s performance during their first major meet of the season at the ASA SER Winter Championships, achieving 7 personal best times so early in the season.

Chief Coach Richard Garfield commented “I am really pleased with the results from all of the swimmers in Senior Performance. Since their appointment Ivo and Sergey are proving they are on track to take the squad onto another level and coupled with the commitment of the swimmers I predict we will be seeing some really great results going forwards.”

David Hammond contributed to 4 of those times on the 50m and 100m Backstroke, 50m and 200m Butterfly. Emily Christie showed great sprinting form achieving two lifetime best swims on the 50m backstroke (30.59) and 100m backstroke (1.04.71). She also took part in the 200 Backstroke and 100 Freestyle coming close to her best times. Another great performance came from Amy Pollard taking 10 seconds off her 800m Freestyle short course PB to a time of 9.37.88.
