Congratulations to Josh Williamson who will be leaving us at the end of December to take up a new post at the University of Stirling as the Assistant Head Coach. This is an amazing opportunity for Josh to be part of one of the Scottish Performance Centres and for his family as they start a new adventure in Scotland.

We are all very sad to see Josh depart Guildford City where he has been a successful coach since 2007. Josh started his coaching career working with the Masters Group and in 2010 became Richard’s assistant in the National Youth Squad.

Josh was promoted two years later and was given his own National Youth Group which included Marco Loughran who Josh went on to coach to the GB Team at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Josh has had many successes as a Guildford Coach and as a swimmer before that and will be missed by swimmers, parents and coaches.

Richard Garfield and the Management Team will shortly be announcing their replacement plans to ensure that the excellent work in NAYSS and HPS continues.
