Congratulations to High Performance Squad Lead Coach Lee Spindlow who has been appointed Head Coach of the Swim England National Event Camp to be held at Sheffield 17th – 20th December 2018.

The camp will consist of 7 events 100/200 Fly 100/200 Back 100/200 Breast and 200 IM and will have 45 swimmers with a target age group Male/Female 15/16 years of age (born 2003/2002). Swimmers to be selected on culmination of British Championships and following World Class selections in September.

This appointment comes on the back of the great work that Lee has been achieving for Guildford City. Since Lee’s appointment as sole Lead High Performance Coach in January 2018, the Club has won the Top Club Awards at the Surrey County Championships (for the 15th consecutive year), achieved second place at the National Arena League “A” Final and topped the medal standings at the South East Region Youth & Senior Championships. In addition the University of Surrey Swim Team placed fourth among all English universities at the British University Team Championships.
