Emma Day swum strongly in the Heats of the 17/18 years 200m fly in 2.20.69 and then went on to the Semi-Final coming 6th in a time of 2.17.40 which meant she would be swimming in the final.
In the Men’s 100m Free Charlie Pullan swam an excellent race in 53.14 securing his place in the Semi-Final where he came 9th in 53.01 which also ensured he would be swimming in the final.
Joe Clark also had a very good swim in the 17/18 years 100m Free coming 9th in 52.46. He went on to swim in the Semi-Final in another excellent time of 52.34 where he finished 11th.
In the Women’s 100m Breast Olivia Mae Cameron put in a fine performance finishing in 2.26.15.
Next up was Matthew Phillips in the 100m MC Breast in a good time of 1.42.54.
The Women’s 200m Free relay saw Dannielle Benn, Lucy Bean, Kate Alexander and Emma Day finish in a time of 8.37.13.
Joe Clark went on to swim in the gruelling 1500m Free in the 17/18 years and finished in a time of 16.42.22.
Lucy Bean had a brilliant race in the 15/16 years 200m Breast final where she finished 6th in a time of 2.34.33.
Rubens King also put in a fine performance in the 15/16 years 200IM Men’s final finishing in 10th place in 2.11.86.
