Huge congratulatings to Mike Hodgson, who trains with NAYSS. who successfully took part in the World Master Games which started on 21 April and finish on 30 April 2017. The games were held in Auckland, New Zealand and take place every 4 years.

This year 25,000 athletes took part across 28 sports, from a 100 countries with ages from 25 to 101.

Mike Hodgson won 5 Golds in the 50-54 age group, competing against past Olympians, Olympic and Commonwealth medalists.

Mike’s Golds were in 200 IM, 50 Breast, 50 Fly, 100 Breast and 200 Breast.
