Initially I went for swimming lessons as my parents thought it essential to learn to swim.

My best stroke is Freestyle, 1500,400,200,100 and 100 Fly, my best achievement in swimming to date making nationals in 2013 for the first time in the 1500m. After a hard day of competition I like to have steak and chips!

Currently I am studying for my A levels in Maths, Economics, Chemistry and Geography. It is difficult to balance my studies with swimming but I muddle through. After my A levels I want to take a gap year to concentrate on swimming then go to university. I want to have a career that will pay me incredibly well!

In my spare time I enjoy watching terrible television!

The Guildford City Coaching staff are all very helpful friendly and have your best intentions at heart.

One day I would like to be picked to represent my country.

My tips for younger aspiring swimmers is don’t give up.
