Incredible weekend for Guildford at SER Age Group Championships ..

Guildford City’s youngsters were in inspiring form at last weekend’s ASA South East Region Age Group Championships at K2 Crawley.
Winning medals galore and NQTs across the board Chief Coach Richard Garfield remarked, ‘I am incredibly proud of all the swimmers who participated and their coaches. These are probably the best results we have ever had at the Age Group Championships. Our committee and the parents should also be thanked for their support.’

Gold, Silver, Bronze ..
A particular mention has to go to Guildford’s amazing 11 year old boys:-
400IM – Gold Jordon Mcphail, Silver Noa Doest, Bronze Alexander Hicks
200 Breast -Gold Noa Doest, Silver Jordon McPhail, Bronze Alexander Hicks

The Relays
4x100-boys-relay-ser-14This was also an unprecedented weekend for the Guildford relay teams. Gold for the Boys 4×100 freestyle relay team in a time that would have made the top 10 in the country at last years National Championships.. Gold, Bronze and 4th place for the Girls 4×100 Medley RelayTeams – with all three teams “A” “B” & “C” recording times that will probably qualify them all for this year’s Age Group National Championships – an unprecedented result in Guildford City history.
